Kick-off meeting in Vienna

The ‘Young Thespians: Youth Performing Arts Education for All!’ project officially began with a kick-off meeting in Vienna in October 2022. It was hosted by EDUCULT at their premises in MuseumsQuartier (MQ) Vienna, and was attended by representatives of EDUCULT, Reykjavík Ensemble, and Musisches Zentrum Wien (MZW).

The two-day meeting was devoted to deepening the understanding of the rationale behind the project, and how to achieve it through the project’s activities, including the development of the two project results, the needs assessment, and the toolkit for inclusion and diversity in the performing arts. We also touched upon project management-related matters, potential risks to the implementation, legal obligations, and lastly the detailed planning of the needs assessment. The next partner meeting takes place virtually in March 2023, upon completion of the first project result.
