Babette’s Feast: multilingual and multicultural theatre

Thanks to the support of the Nordic Culture Fund, Nordic Culture Point, Reykjavíkurborg, and the Icelandic Professional Performance Art Groups Fund, we created a platform for the knowledge exchange on inclusive theatre in the Nordic countries. The partners will meet in Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden to share their expertise, network, develop the co-production, promote the project, and offer workshops and research opportunities.

The project will be concluded with a theatrical production inspired by the iconic short story Babette’s Feast by Danish author Karen Blixen in 2023.

Partners in the project:
Reykjavík Ensemble International Theatre (Iceland)
Black Nordic Theatre (Norway)
Teater Aros (Sweden)
Immart (Denmark)
