Partners' Meeting and the European Symposium: Art Inclusive in Vienna

In February 2023, the project partners from Austria, Great Britain, Iceland, Portugal and Slovenia joined for the final Partners' Meeting and the European Symposium: Art Inclusive in Vienna, summarizing the URB_ART project.

Art Inclusive brought together key actors from the fields of culture, education and policy for an exchange on Arts Education and its role in addressing inequalities faced in a diverse urban society. Keynote by Iketina Danso, working groups, a panel discussion with Asma Aiad (Muslim Contemporary/Salam Oida), Claudia Isep (Austrian UNESCO Commission), Elisabeth Bernroitner (D/Arts, Brunnenpassage) und Thomas Lainer (VHS Ottakring), and an artistic intervention by Kiki House of Dive and Friends were an amazing occasion to talk about the challenges and opportunities of Urban Arts Education for the future.
