LONGTABLE DISCUSSION: Inclusive aspects of artistic processes

Great turnout! At the event LONGTABLE DISCUSSION: Inclusive aspects of artistic processes (URB_ART & Be Part!) on the 21st of January 2023 organized as a part of the URB ART project in collaboration with Be People in Art and the Reykjavík City Library we hosted more than forty independent artists and art educators working in the subject of social inclusion.

The artists and art educators shared their experiences and knowledge on the inclusive aspects of different artistic processes. Participants shared examples of good practice in an active peer to peer learning session. We talked about projects in which the artistic creative process has been a successful tool for establishing a sense of togetherness, belonging and equality within different parts of society.
