Greetings from Oslo!

Reykjavík Ensemble visited Oslo as a part of the “Babette’s feast: Multilingual and multicultural theatre” project in June 2022.

For the last 30 years, Nordic Black Theatre & Cafeteatret has been running an incredibly successful multicultural theatre company and theatre school Nordic Black Xpress developing young transcultural actors. We had the pleasure to visit Cliff Moustache and Jarl Solberg the founders of the Nordic Black Theatre, and meeting with artists, teachers, and students to share experiences and discuss the diversity in theatre and arts.

In the "Babette’s Feast - multilingual and multicultural theatre" project, experts from the Nordic region share their tools for sustainable management of theatre companies working with marginalized multicultural and multilingual artists. The project is funded by Nordic Culture Fund and Nordic Culture Point.
