Partners meeting in Uppsala

In May 2020, Reykjavík Ensemble spent five days in Uppsala in Sweden with partners from Teater Aros. We learned about their theatre productions, inclusive youth programs, and outreach projects for immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. The visit was focused on researching the method of language acquisition with the use of drama.

In the "Babette’s Feast - multilingual and multicultural theatre" project, experts from the Nordic region share their tools for sustainable management of theatre companies working with marginalized multicultural and multilingual artists. The project is funded by Nordic Culture Fund and Nordic Culture Point.
